In the United States, over 30 million working adults are living without a high school diploma. Mckinney was tapped by the Ad Council and Dollar General Literacy Foundation to do one thing – motivate those who are considering finishing their high school education to take the next step. As we began, we learned that what was holding them back was simply feeling overwhelmed with the logistics and time commitment it would take, especially when it seemed as if they would be juggling it all on their own. We needed to remind them that no one gets a diploma alone. In fact, we needed to show them.

All of the work drives to one place, the website. It is here that adults can find the closest learning center near them to begin their journey. Because this is the most important feature of the site, we created a simple navigation highlighting the location search feature as well as easy-to-find results with pin locations and clickable phone numbers for mobile. Check out the site.

Because this was a pro-bono assignment, and we actually got to use our powers for good, here are a few feel-good results.
