Southwest Airlines | 40th Anniversary Tour

In honor of Southwest Airline’s 40th Anniversary, GSD&M was tapped to shake things up. The brief, "Rocking the airline industry for 40 years." But we knew this scrappy little airline from Texas wasn’t interested in a party and some balloons. They needed an idea that lived up to their name. So not only did we rock the industry, we rocked the skies with the first ever One Day Cross Country Rock and Roll Concert Tour. In the air.

This never-been-done-before event was so successful, Southwest Airlines created the program Live@35, which has been surprising customers with in-flight performances from well known artists and songwriters Liz Rose, Jack Ingram, King & Country and many others since 2011.

Yep, another case study video. Sorry. Again though, really the best way to explain the idea in 90 seconds. Bonus, this one has good music.
